MTools Tec was founded in 2015 by Wilson, starting as a solo indie developer project that has grown into a multi-product hardware and software company. We build tools for the RFID/NFC community, IoT developers, and wireless communication enthusiasts — shipping products worldwide.

Our Story

The MTools brand began with the MTools App, built by Wilson in 2015 while at college. The app helps merchants manage MIFARE Classic 1K cards for their membership systems, working with NFC readers like PN532, ACR122U, and Bluetooth readers. This project became the foundation for MTools Tec.

Over the years, the company expanded into automotive lighting (contributing to Boslla, the world’s first 4-color LED headlight bulb), WordPress plugin development (Auto Bulb Finder, WooCat), and eventually hardware product design. Today our focus is on NFC/RFID tools and LoRa mesh communication hardware.

Open Source & Community

We believe in open source. Our firmware for Meshtiny and PN532Killer is publicly available on GitHub, with active communities on Discord. We welcome contributions, bug reports, and feature requests from the community.
